Freshers Daytime Events
It looks like Freshers 2011 will be the year, it's going to be bigger and better than ever!

13 September · 18:00 - 20:30 - Atrium
The Big Student Party is going off on the 13th September, no need to explain this one... It's a BIG party, for you, our lovely students!
14 September · 10:00 - 16:00 - Atrium
You might like the Union so much you want to work for us – or you might just need a job! All our student staff vacancies in union services such as Source, 53 and Essentials and in our membership services are advertised through The Bridge our student employment service.
Each year we employ about 300 people in a variety of roles so there will be something for you – you might need to persist though as competition is tough.
This event will be packed with local and national employers looking to get you on board... In the mean time, keep upto scratch with job opportunities via The Bridge and The Bridge Facebok page.
14 September · 12:00 - 16:00 - Whole Building
Give It A Go is all about trying something new. Get involved in a wide range of weird and wonderful activities on a no commitment, no strings attached basis. You can do as few or as many activities as you like!
This event is designed to give you a taster of what to expect from a massive 2011/12 programme!
15 September · 10:00 - 17:00 - 53 Degrees
Today is the day of our infamous Freshers Fair!
Feel free not to bother having any breakfast that day, be about all day and catch any number of exhibitors giving away free food... However if you don't fancy pizza for breakfast (just yet) there will be over 50 other local and national organisations and businesses plying you with free stuff throughout the day!
"Where is this fantastic event taking place?" I hear you ask... Taking place across the whole of the Union building, just give yourself plenty of time to make sure you get around and take it all in!
16 September · 12:00 - 16:00 - 53 Degrees
Joining a sports club is the best chance you have for coming together with likeminded people and expressing your passion for your sport or game. Often clubs will run socials and put on tournaments!
Societies are the chance for like-minded people to come together and express or share their views and passion. Often societies will run events, put on performances and some campaign for change within the Union, the University and the wider world.
The Clubs and Societies fair is your first chance to introduce yourself and get involved!

Keep an eye out for updates on here and via the UCLan Freshers 2011 Facebook page
