The Students' Union building is located at the heart of UCLan's Preston campus. It is a crossroads, with nearly 4,000 people a day coming through the building. Some pass straight through but a lot choose to stop, shop, drink, browse and use the great services that are on offer.
The building was redeveloped in 2005 and has something for everyone. You can have a coffee with friends in the Atrium, pick-up some shopping in Essentials, get arty and creative with Print Studio or have a burger and a pint in Source.

The student supermarket sells everything you need to get you through the week at great prices. Our huge range of Co-op branded fresh and chilled groceries, along with our off license, offers fantastic promotions on your favourite brands and a variety of real ales and Fairtrade wines. Choose from a massive selection of sweets, soft drinks and sandwiches along with an ever-expanding range of healthier snacks. Meal Deals are available so for a quick lunch pop into essentials!

Whether you have a deadline or a personal project, bring along your work for a professional finish at student prices. We can output your work at top speed, in colour and black and white. Our prices are cheap and cheerful, perfect for a student budget. Now located at the front of the Union building on Fylde Road next to Essentials.

If you're of the art persuasion, a graphical wizard or simply enjoy doing a bit of designing then Print Studio is the place for you. Stocking all the materials for both computer designers and hand designs, if we haven't got it we'll order it. Print Studio also stocks a large range of UCLan branded clothing, including hoodies and t-shirts.

This is the place to go if you're in need of something healthy and filling. The Atrium salads, sandwiches and daily specials are all made with the best produce, you'll be licking your lips for more. Smoothies can be invented for you, just pick your fruit - and even veg - and it'll be mixed in front of you to create a tasty and healthy drink. Atrium supports Fairtrade and local producers, so you're likely to find the chicken is from Goosnargh and the bananas are from Costa Rica.

Visit the Source mini-site for details of all events and food menus. Source is the place to begin your night out, although increasingly you'll find yourself spending the whole day and night there. Great food is dished up until 9 PM, and you can eat it in the exclusive lounge area or enjoy it with your mates in one of the comfy new booths. The big screen shows all the important sports fixtures, and from quizzes to karaoke there's always something happening. Source is the place to be on a Saturday night, as the weekend student population come together to enjoy a great atmosphere.
