PRE-REGISTER FOR YOUR NEW CAMPUS NETWORK...

christ

The University of Central Lancashire Christian Union serves to see Jesus’ claims made known on campus. We are an inter-denominational group of students who meet every Thursday to encourage and challenge each other to live and speak for Jesus while at University in particular, but also in preparation for the rest of our lives.

We meet every Thursday at 7pm in the Salvation Army building which is on Harrington Street opposite Whitendale Halls (for map click here). We worship God through song and prayer, we hear the Bible taught to us by a local speaker; and we study the Bible for ourselves, as well as receive training in how to effectively communicate and explain the gospel to our friends and other students.

We also have other events running throughout the year, such as:

International events (for International students)

...this includes a "Globe cafe" every other Wednesday, a regular opportunity for International students to get together and have fun!

‘University Carol Service‘ - on 6th December at 7pm in Greenbank Lecture Theatre

'Events week' (a week of fun events from 18th-22nd February)

...and much more!

We welcome anyone and everyone to attend our events, you don't have to be a Christian! We welcome all students of any church background and also those who are just interested but may have no particular commitment.

If you would like any more information, email Sarah Yorke (secretary: SYorke@uclan.ac.uk), or cucommittee@hotmail.com see our website: www.uclancu.co.uk
