Union received the fourth highest score in the country out of the 70 Students’ Unions nationwide who entered. The Unions were judged on how they impacted on their local environment in terms of social, ethical and environmental issues
All the Unions were assessed on their recycling and energy management procedures. UCLan SU scored 365 points.
After receiving two silver awards in 2007 and 2008 we are now looking to take the step up to a gold award, if you want to get involved then email Chris Lowden at supresident@uclan.ac.uk to find out how you can help UCLan Students' Union win gold in 2009.
