Our Plans
The Union Board of Trustees has adopted a Long Term Plan for the Union and sets annual priorities; reporting back on these to students at the AGM and in the Union’s Annual Report. You can see our Priorities for 2011/12 here.
The Board has recognised that the many dramatic changes in the higher education world mean we need to ensure that the union is ready to meet the challenges of the future. The Union is therefore reviewing the Unions’ future plans and you can see the first draft of the new plan, called ‘We are changing the way we work with Students’ here.

Many of the changes have been based on the findings of the research undertaken by the Union. The Union asked questions as part of the UCLan Student Survey and conducted our own research; The I Heart UCLan Survey. We have published these survey reports and we were really pleased to discover that 89% of students think the Union has made a positive impact on their life at university.
